Britney Spears has been a part of the entertainment world since she was about five years old, featuring in Disney’s shows for kids. Her eventual transition to the music scene made her an instant celebrity, especially since she was about 18 years old when she came out, dressed in a sexy school girl outfit, suddenly became the boyhood fantasy of millions of people around the world. Girls wanted to be like her, and boys wanted to be with her.

Her life was not all peaches and cream, since she got a divorce from her ex Kevin Federline and went into a celebrity recession shortly after that. Either way Britney Spears did get in on the action of blogging and Twittering and actually hosts one of the most popular blogs in Hollywood. Even through all her hardships, her pregnancy and so forth Britney Spears still maintained a good connection with her public and thus was able to climb back on the proverbial celebrity saddle without too much trouble.

Many people follow her blog as she also gives a little bit more value to her words, and creates a deeper connection with her millions of fans worldwide. The reason celebrities begin to tweet and blog is mainly because of the massive amounts of people who are reading blogs these days. It is no surprise that if you want to create a voice for yourself online, you need to own a blog, and with celebrities making their own blogs and twitter accounts it is no surprise that many people follow them religiously. Blogging is the communication of the present; the old ways of communicating have been merged with the newer efficient blogging methods.
